Worship Music Leader

Responsibilities:

1. Primary responsibility is to lead the congregation in music during the blended service
2. Coordinating with Worship Committee and Senior Minister select music for Sunday worship service
3. Review church calendar, and schedule music in accordance with it
4. Seek out and provide special music as requested by the Worship Committee
5. Attend staff and Worship Committee meetings as requested
6. Consider and determine the feasibility of redeveloping a choir
7. Work with technical staff on the display of song lyrics
8. Maintain the music library
9. Work with church pianist on musical selections for interludes as part of worship service

Expectations:

1. Spend approximately ten hours weekly on duties listed above
2. Salary: $10,000 annually
3. Notify Senior Minister and Worship Committee in a timely manner if unable to be present for a scheduled activity

Qualifications:

1. College training or equivalent experiences in church music
2. Proficient choral conductor or pianist
