Head MS and Assistant HS Choir Director,

Rockport-Fulton, Texas is a thriving coastal community with a comprehensive fine arts scene. RFISD is a 4A/2C School District that is in a colorful community of cultures from young families to retired individuals who love supporting the arts. RFISD is also in the process of completing a brand new HS fine arts facility adjacent to our well known Martha Luigi Auditorium. This facility will be one of the best public school fine arts campuses in the Coastal Bend Region.

About the position:

Our District is seeking an individual possessing vocal pedagogy with a desire to grow and manage a MS choral program while assisting partially with the HS choral program. The ideal candidate will have the K-12 certification in All-Level music, a bachelor's degree in music or music education. Professional qualities should include: being moldable, willing to learn, energetic, and passionate about music education and its impact on our students, community, and district. The key professional elements of communication, organization, and self-drive are a must.

This would be an excellent position that allows for mentorship opportunities with a strong High School Choral Director with over 20 years of successful experience in music education All courses will be co-taught.
