Comments: San Marcos CISD is dedicated to improving student success and is currently seeking a highly motivated Orchestra Director with Guitar teaching capability for Miller Middle School. The orchestra program has routinely received sweepstakes at UIL C&SR, while the Classical Guitar program is in its third year. This position will have the support of the Orchestra Director at Goodnight MS and the San Marcos High School (SMHS) Head Orchestra Director and the SMHS Mariachi and Classical Guitar Director. Guitar curriculum is also provided.

San Marcos is located approximately half way between Austin and San Antonio on the I-35 corridor, San Marcos is also home to Texas State University, the headwaters of the San Marcos River, and is noted as the gateway to the hill country.
