Music Director

The Congregational Church of Austin, UCC, is seeking a passionate and collaborative Director of Music to lead our music ministry. We’re a progressive, justice-oriented congregation located in the heart of Austin’s West Campus, and we value dynamic worship that integrates traditional, classical, and justice-themed music.

Position Details:

• Part-time (10 hours/week)

• Annual Salary: $12,000

• Sunday morning worship required

You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Rehearsing and conducting the choir

• Leading congregational singing

• Collaborating with our pastor and instrumental trio

• Selecting hymns and choral music

• Coordinating music for special services and inviting guest musicians

• Supporting a welcoming and diverse worship environment
