Choral Collaborative Pianist Position
Beginning Summer/Fall 2026
RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include accompanying either the Treble ensemble or the Tenor/Bass ensemble (2:00-3:15 PM on T/Th) and collaborating with the ensemble directors during all performances such as Choral Concerts, DBU Christmas Festival, Leadership Gala, and other university functions as needed. Other accompanying opportunities, including All-State Choir Camp, applied lessons, conducting course(s), departmental auditions, as well as musical/opera productions, will be considered based on evolving departmental needs and candidate interest/experience/qualifications.
QUALIFICATIONS: The candidate should hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in music (master’s degree preferred). Preference will be given to candidates with accompanying experience at the collegiate or high school levels. As a Christian university, DBU expects that employees for this position are committed Christians and a member of a local church.
SALARY: Based on the DBU Part-Time Staff Collaborative Pianist pay scale.
EMPLOYMENT DATE: June 29, 2026 (start of DBU All-State Choir Camp)
