Collaborative Pianist

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the artistic director, the collaborative pianist will:

• Prepare all repertoire in advance of rehearsals and performances
• Work collaboratively with instrumentalists and vocalists in preparation for a concert
• Attend weekly Monday rehearsals from 7-9 p.m. during the long semesters.
• Attend Saturday dress rehearsals twice a semester from 9:30-11:30 a.m. These are typically held in October, December, March and May
• Perform for the annual fundraiser held in September
• Attend four performances a year held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoons/evenings

Salary

$6,000 ($1,500 per concert)

Overnight lodging or gas allowance possible if traveling into San Angelo each week.
